<dc:title>Spatial Form and Meteorological Data for Major Chinese Cities at the Prefectural Level and Above</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.39677</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>The dataset mainly includes temperature data, humidity data, and land use data. Among them, temperature and humidity data are from the National Meteorological Data Center (1991-2020); Land use data is from the Resource and Environmental Science and Data Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2020).&amp;nbsp;The 2020 land use data of China (30 m &amp;times; 30 m) was updated based on the data from 2015 and generated through manual visual interpretation using Landsat 8 remote sensing images. This data adopts a two-level classification system, with the first level divided into six categories: cultivated land, forest land, grassland, water area, construction land, and unused land. The second level is further divided into 25 types based on the first level. To obtain the spatial form characteristics of a single city, the grid map of urban construction land in China in 2020 was cropped, and Fragstats software was used to calculate the form indicators of each city.&amp;nbsp;</dc:description>
