<dc:description>This dataset contains relevant information on Chinese listed manufacturing companies from 2013 to 2022, used to examine the impact mechanism and boundary effects of the availability of the artificial intelligence industry on the innovation quality of manufacturing companies. Among them, artificial intelligence data comes from text analysis of enterprise annual reports, while basic information and financial data of manufacturing enterprises come from CSMAR and CNRDS databases. This article performs the following processing on the original dataset: firstly, removing ST class, PT class, and data of delisted enterprises during the period; The second is to eliminate samples of key data loss in enterprises; Thirdly, to eliminate the influence of extreme values, a 1% tail reduction is applied to all continuous values. Finally, 10735 annual observation samples of enterprises were obtained. </dc:description>
