2026-06-12 ETHNOCENTRISM AND INTERCULTURAL WILLINGNESS TO COMMUNICATE: THE MEDIATING ROLES OF SOCIAL DISTANCE AND COMMUNICATION APPREHENSION doi:10.57760/sciencedb.39791 en This dataset contains survey responses collected from 337 university students (181 Turkish students and 156 international students) enrolled at Erciyes University, Türkiye. The study examines the relationships among ethnocentrism, social distance, intercultural communication apprehension, and intercultural willingness to communicate.Data were collected using self-report questionnaires administered on a five-point Likert scale. The dataset includes demographic variables as well as scores obtained from the Ethnocentrism Scale, Social Distance Scale, Intercultural Communication Apprehension Scale, and Intercultural Willingness to Communicate Scale.The data were analyzed using SPSS 22 and the PROCESS macro. The dataset is provided in SPSS (.sav) format and contains anonymized participant responses. No personally identifiable information is included.
