<dc:title>CVDsTFR: A Transcription Factor Data Platform for High-Mortality Cardiovascular Diseases</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.40558</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) remain one of the leading causes of death worldwide, and transcription factors (TFs) play key regulatory roles in the pathogenesis of CVDs. However, relevant data are scattered across primary literature, high-throughput datasets, and general-purpose databases, and there is still a lack of a dedicated resource that can both integrate heterogeneous data types and provide online tools for gene regulatory network inference. To fill this gap, we developed CVDsTFR, focusing on three major CVD subtypes, namely coronary artery disease, hypertensive heart disease, and rheumatic heart disease. CVDsTFR currently contains 84 GEO metadata entries and 850 manually curated TF-related records. The data are regularly updated through automated pipelines and supplemented by manual curation to ensure accuracy. CVDsTFR integrates two advanced gene regulatory network inference algorithms (GENIE3 and 3D-CEMA), supporting multi-condition queries, online network construction, interactive visualization, and flexible data export. We believe that CVDsTFR will serve as a centralized resource for mechanistic studies of CVDs and facilitate the prioritization of diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets.</dc:description>
