<dc:title>Supplementary Dataset for: Integrative multi-omics analysis identifies VCAN and ESM1 as candidate cell-type-associated biomarkers of NET-related glomerular injury in diabetic kidney disease</dc:title>

<dc:description>This dataset contains the supplementary figures and tables supporting the manuscript titled "Integrative multi-omics analysis identifies VCAN and ESM1 as candidate cell-type-associated biomarkers of NET-related glomerular injury in diabetic kidney disease". The study integrates bulk glomerular transcriptomics, single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), and experimental validation (in vitro high-glucose co-culture and in vivo db/db mice) to investigate the role of Neutrophil Extracellular Traps (NETs) in diabetic kidney disease (DKD) and identify candidate biomarkers (VCAN and ESM1).The dataset consists of the following files:1. Supplementary Figures (S1-S3): Covering batch effect correction, single-cell quality control, UMAP projections, violin plots, robustness/sensitivity analyses of NET-related gene sets, transcriptomic profiles of cell subclusters, and validation of candidate markers.2. Supplementary Table S1: List of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) identified between DKD and control samples.3. Supplementary Table S2: Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis results of the DEGs.4. Supplementary Table S3: Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment analysis results of the DEGs.5. Supplementary Table S4: Candidate gene screening results via machine learning (LASSO, Random Forest, and intersection with NET-related genes).6. Supplementary Table S5: List of 89 DKD-contextualized NET-related genes (DKD-NRGs).7. Supplementary Table S6: Sensitivity analysis of NET gene-set enrichment (bulk GSEA).8. Supplementary Table S7: Primer sequences used for qRT-PCR validation in Mus musculus.9. Supplementary Table S8: Molecular docking prediction results for VCAN and ESM1 targeting compounds (ZINC database).</dc:description>
