<dc:title>ALMA 3 mm observational data sets of acetone in hot molecular cores</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.41007</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>The dataset used in this study comes from observations of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) in Band 3 band (corresponding to approximately 3 millimeter wavelength), with 60 thermal molecular nuclei included in the observed samples. The raw observation data undergoes denoising and calibration processing through the ALMA standard data calibration process. The recognition and analysis of spectral lines are carried out using XCLASS software, which is based on the Local Thermal Equilibrium (LTE) model to fit the observed spectral lines. Through this fitting process, we obtained the rotational temperature and column density of acetone in each detection source. The dataset contains the physical parameters of 15 detected hot nuclei of acetone, with each detection source providing rotational temperature (range 89 to 176K) and column density (range 0.9 to 24 &amp;times; 10 &amp;sup1;⁶ cm ⁻ &amp;sup2;). In addition, the dataset also includes acetone spatial distribution information derived from the 3mm spectral line integration intensity map. The data also includes column density data for acetaldehyde and methanol for correlation analysis. Based on these data, we derived the correlation coefficients (r=0.59) between the density of acetone column and rotational temperature in high-quality hot nuclei, as well as the correlation coefficients (r=0.82) between the density of acetone and acetaldehyde column. The dataset also includes the ratio of acetone to methanol, which has been compared with the predicted results of the three-phase chemical model. The uncertainty of rotational temperature and column density mainly comes from the spectral line fitting process. The data files are provided in FITS format for spectral cubes and spectra. FITS files can be used with standard astronomical software such as CASA（ https://casa.nrao.edu/ ）Or DS9（ https://sites.google.com/cfa.harvard.edu/saoimageds9 ）View and analyze.&amp;nbsp;</dc:description>
