2026-07-06 Annual Land Desertification Level Dataset for the Northwest Arid Region of China (2000–2025) doi:10.57760/sciencedb.41122 en This dataset contains raster data on land desertification levels in the arid northwest region of China from 2000 to 2025. The data grading is based on the land desertification evaluation rules in HJ 1174-2021 "Technical Specifications for National Ecological Status Survey and Assessment - Ecological Problem Assessment", combined with the vegetation coverage (FVC) and land use/desertification evaluation mask generated year by year. The level codes are: 0 (NoData/not evaluated), 1 (mild desertification), 2 (moderate desertification), 3 (severe desertification), and 4 (extremely severe desertification).
