2026-07-08 Dataset of a Quasi-Experimental Study on the Effects of Digital Human Videos and AI Dialogue Practice on Japanese Indirect Speech Acts Learning doi:10.57760/sciencedb.41882 en This dataset originates from a one-semester quasi-experimental study involving 93 first-year Japanese major students at a Chinese university. It contains pretest and posttest objective grammar scores (0–100), six-item self-efficacy ratings for indirect reporting, and the experimental group’s (n=44) evaluation of the AI dialogue practice experience (7-point Likert scale) as well as their perceptions of traditional classroom challenges.
