<dc:title>Phenotypic and Genotypic Dataset for Tobacco Bacterial Wilt Resistance</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.42346</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>Tobacco bacterial wilt is an important soil-borne disease affecting tobacco yield and quality. The construction of standardized and reusable resistance phenotype and genotype datasets provides essential support for resistant germplasm screening, resistance locus mining, and molecular breeding. In this study, 304 tobacco germplasm resources were used as experimental materials. Seedling-stage artificial inoculation assays were conducted in 2024 and 2025 using two Ralstonia solanacearum strains, FQY-4 and TZ-3, respectively, generating disease index (DI) phenotype data from 12 batches, including 21R1&amp;ndash;21R7 and 22r1&amp;ndash;22r5. Meanwhile, genotype data containing 90,568 SNP markers were generated through genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS), alignment to the ZY300 reference genome, and variant calling using the GATK pipeline. Germplasm information, phenotype data, SNP quality-control information, and genome-wide association study (GWAS) results were systematically organized to establish a phenotype&amp;ndash;genotype dataset for tobacco bacterial wilt resistance. To evaluate the usability of the dataset, GWAS benchmark analysis was performed using the mixed linear model implemented in TASSEL 5.0, with five principal components and a Centered_IBS kinship matrix included to control population structure and relatedness. The benchmark analysis detected stable association signals in the 0&amp;ndash;3 Mb region of chromosome HIC_17 and the 116&amp;ndash;130 Mb region of chromosome HIC_11, indicating that this dataset can support resistance locus mining and resistant germplasm screening for tobacco bacterial wilt. By integrating multi-batch resistance phenotype data, high-density SNP genotype data, and GWAS benchmark results, this dataset provides a basic data resource for genetic analysis of tobacco bacterial wilt resistance, molecular marker development, GWAS model comparison, and phenotype&amp;ndash;genotype joint prediction.</dc:description>
