<dc:title>Multi-Factor Degraded Orbital Angular Momentum Optical Field Dataset</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.42738</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset is designed for free-space optical communication research and contains degraded orbital angular momentum (OAM) optical field images generated under different topological charges, atmospheric turbulence strengths, propagation distances, and signal-to-noise ratio conditions.Ideal OAM optical fields were generated using the Laguerre&amp;ndash;Gaussian beam model. The degradation process was simulated using the angular spectrum propagation method, a multi-phase-screen atmospheric turbulence model, and additive noise at the receiver. The dataset contains 11 topological charge classes, l = 0, 1, 2, ..., 10; seven atmospheric refractive-index structure constant levels; four propagation distances; and five signal-to-noise ratio levels. Thirty independently disturbed samples were generated for each parameter combination, resulting in 46,200 grayscale intensity images with a resolution of 224 &amp;times; 224 pixels.Class labels, training/validation/test manifests, statistical summaries, and simulation configuration files are also provided. The dataset can be used for OAM mode recognition, optical-field degradation analysis, model robustness evaluation, and intelligent reception in free-space optical communication systems. The current version is based on numerical simulation and does not contain measurements from real atmospheric channels.</dc:description>
