<dc:description>The paper supported by this dataset has been published in *The Journal of Clinical Investigation* (2025;135(20):e186052). This dataset provides data support for revealing the mechanism of the C6orf223/PRMT5 axis in the development and metastasis of colorectal cancer. The data is generated from specific experimental results and sequencing analysis of experimental samples. The experimental part follows the Methods section of the published article, and all involved experiments are documented therein. This dataset consists of one PowerPoint file, one Excel file, and 20 individual folders corresponding to each figure. All unedited Western Blot data presented in the Figures are organized in the PowerPoint file named "Unedited blot and gels". Each slide is clearly labeled with the specific position of the corresponding panel in the Figure, and the group naming is consistent with that used in the original Figure in the published article. The raw data for all column graphs, line graphs and other plots presented in the Figures are included in the Excel file named "Supporting data". Each worksheet corresponds to one plot, and is named according to the position of the plot in the corresponding Figure. All other experimental source data for the Figures are organized into separate folders, with each folder corresponding to one Figure. Files within each folder are named according to the position of the corresponding data in the Figure, and group naming is also consistent with the group naming used for Figures in the published article. </dc:description>
