2026-07-20 Research on the Mechanism of Green Entrepreneurial Orientation Driving Green Ambidextrous Innovation doi:10.57760/sciencedb.42882 en Driven by the “dual carbon” goals, green entrepreneurial orientation has emerged as a pivotal strategy for enterprises to overcome resource constraints and achieve green transformation. Systematically examining the mechanisms through which green entrepreneurial orientation drives green ambidextrous innovation is of substantial theoretical and practical value for enterprises attempting to coordinate green exploratory innovation and green exploitative innovation. Using hierarchical regression and Bootstrap methods to analyze two-wave survey data from 341 enterprises in East China, the empirical results demonstrate that: (1) green entrepreneurial orientation has a significant positive impact on green exploratory innovation, green exploitative innovation, and the synergy of green ambidextrous innovation, with a stronger impact on green exploitative innovation than on green exploratory innovation; (2) entrepreneurial bricolage mediates the relationships between green entrepreneurial orientation and green exploratory innovation, green exploitative innovation, as well as the synergy of green ambidextrous innovation; (3) green relational capital positively moderates the relationship between green entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial bricolage, with a stronger positive relationship at higher levels of green relational capital. These findings offer theoretical enrichment and practical implications for green innovation.
