2026-07-16 High-Temporal-Resolution WACCM7 Eclipse and Control Simulations for the 2023 and 2024 Solar Eclipses doi:10.57760/sciencedb.43176 en This dataset contains the high-time-resolution Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model version 7 (WACCM7) simulations used in the study “Eclipse Dimming Causes Ozone Loss Below and Gain Above.” It comprises four experiment groups: eclipse and no-eclipse control simulations for the 14 October 2023 annular solar eclipse and the 8 April 2024 total solar eclipse. Each group contains five NetCDF files covering 17:00–21:55 UTC at 5-minute intervals, providing 60 time steps per simulation and 20 files in total.
