2026-07-20 Dataset of habitat pattern for wintering geese in Dongting Lake doi:10.57760/sciencedb.43381 en This data package is compiled for the study on wintering goose habitats pattern in Dongting Lake. The dataset consists of standardized tabular metrics and two categories of raster outputs. The tabular datasets contain regional and whole-lake records of habitat suitability, suitable habitat area, landscape configuration indices and hydrological variables, with a supplementary data dictionary for variable interpretation. Raster files include continuous cloglog-scale habitat suitability predictions and binary habitat maps classified by the 10th percentile training presence threshold, where pixel value 1 represents suitable habitat and 0 represents unsuitable habitat. Regional codes (EDTL, SDTL, WDTL, DTL_all) are adopted to distinguish East, South, West Dongting Lake and the entire lake basin.
