<dc:title>Annual 1 km Remote Sensing Ecological Index (RSEI) Dataset for Southwestern China, 2000&amp;ndash;2025</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.44416</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset provides spatial distribution data of Remote Sensing Ecological Index (RSEI) in Southwest China from 2000 to 2025. The data is cropped based on the boundary of the &amp;quot;Southwest Region&amp;quot; in the China Agricultural Resources and Environment Zoning Dataset, which includes 26 annual grids with a time resolution of 1 year and a nominal spatial resolution of 1 km. The data is stored in a single band GeoTIFF format using the WGS 84 geographic coordinate system (EPSG: 4326), and pixels outside the region are set as invalid values. The effective pixel value range in the dataset is 4-94, with higher values usually indicating better ecological environment quality. This dataset can reflect the spatial pattern and long-term changes of ecological environment quality in Southwest China, and can be used for ecological environment quality monitoring, identification of ecological improvement and degradation areas, evaluation of ecological protection effectiveness, and research on regional sustainable development.&amp;nbsp;</dc:description>
