<dc:title>Palladium-catalyzed carbonylative approach to the synthesis of enoylhydrazones</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.44944</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>The current synthesis of enoylhydrazones is often limited by narrow substrate scope and poor selectivity. To address this critical challenge, we present a practical strategy based on palladium-catalyzed, highly regioselective carbonylation of alkynes with hydrazines and aldehydes, enabling efficient access to unsaturated enoylhydrazones. The system demonstrates excellent functional group tolerance, high regioselectivity, and scalability, thereby enhancing control over chemical selectivity in multicomponent transformations and effectively overcoming the low conversion rates commonly observed with weakly nucleophilic hydrazines. Mechanistic studies demonstrate that, under palladium catalysis, alkynes and partners undergo efficient carbonylation via a multicomponent cascade reaction with high atom utilization, highlighting excellent atom economy and substantial benefits in the context of green chemistry</dc:description>
