  <dc:title>Flux densities of PKS 0735+178</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.44981</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset contains the optical and radio flux-density measurements of the blazar PKS 0735+178 used in the variability and multiwavelength analysis presented in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, Volume 550, Issue 2, August 2026, DOI: 10.1093/mnras/stag1179. The dataset is intended to support reproduction of the light curves and time-series analyses reported in the publication and to facilitate reuse in future studies of blazar variability. The dataset consists of two plain-text files. Each row corresponds to one observing epoch. The filenames indicate the observing band or instrument and the approximate time interval covered by the measurements.1. Optics-SAO-2022-2026.txtThis file contains optical R-band flux-density measurements of PKS 0735+178 obtained during 2022&amp;ndash;2026 with telescopes operated by, or associated with, the Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The optical observations were reduced and calibrated following the procedures described in the associated publication. The calibrated photometric measurements were converted to flux-density units of mJy.The columns are:Column 1: observing date in yyyy.mm.dd format;Column 2: Julian Date;Column 3: observing epoch in decimal-year format, yyyy.yyyy;Column 4: R-band flux density in mJy;Column 5: uncertainty of the R-band flux density in mJy;Column 6: telescope designation. The telescope designations used in Column 6 should be interpreted according to the instrument definitions given in the associated publication. The reported uncertainties correspond to 1&amp;sigma; measurement uncertainties.2. Radio-RATAN-1997-2026.txtThis file contains radio continuum flux-density measurements of PKS 0735+178 obtained with the RATAN-600 radio telescope during 1997&amp;ndash;2026. The observations cover frequencies from 1 to 22 GHz. The data were calibrated and processed using the procedures described in the associated publication. Flux densities are given in Jy.The columns are:Column 1: observing date in yyyy.mm.dd format;Column 2: Julian Date;Column 3: observing epoch in decimal-year format, yyyy.yyyy;Columns 4&amp;ndash;5: flux density and uncertainty at 22 GHz, in Jy;Columns 6&amp;ndash;7: flux density and uncertainty at 11 GHz, in Jy;Columns 8&amp;ndash;9: flux density and uncertainty at 8 GHz, in Jy;Columns 10&amp;ndash;11: flux density and uncertainty at 5 GHz, in Jy;Columns 12&amp;ndash;13: flux density and uncertainty at 2 GHz, in Jy;Columns 14&amp;ndash;15: flux density and uncertainty at 1 GHz, in Jy.The uncertainty associated with each radio measurement is 1&amp;sigma; measurement uncertainties and calibration uncertainty. Missing or unavailable measurements are represented by '--' and should not be interpreted as zero flux density. The files are encoded as plain-text tables using spaces as delimiters. The first 3 lines contain column names and header information, and subsequent lines contain the measurements. Dates, Julian Dates, and decimal years refer to the same observing epochs and are included in several formats for convenience. The scientific value of the dataset lies in its long temporal coverage. The RATAN-600 measurements provide an approximately three-decade radio light curve, while the optical file provides denser recent R-band monitoring. Together, the measurements can be used to study long-term variability, radio&amp;ndash;optical correlations, frequency-dependent time delays, flaring activity, and possible characteristic variability timescales in PKS 0735+178.</dc:description>
