<dc:title>CAS Global Rapid Combined Ionospheric Map Products Based on GNSS EdSTEC, DORIS dSTEC, and GNSS dSTEC Weighting</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.44997</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset provides three sets of global rapid combined ionospheric map products developed at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), denoted CAS1, CAS2, and CAS3. The three products share a common global ionospheric map representation but use different external ionospheric observables to assess and weight the contributing single-center products. CAS1 uses GNSS equal-elevation differential slant total electron content (EdSTEC) as the weighting reference, CAS2 uses differential slant total electron content (dSTEC) derived from dual-frequency DORIS carrier-phase observations, and CAS3 uses dSTEC derived from GNSS observations. The parallel products are intended to support investigations of how different observing techniques and weighting strategies affect combined global ionospheric solutions. The products are distributed as daily IONosphere Map EXchange (IONEX) files. Each file covers one UTC day with a nominal temporal resolution of 30 min. CAS1, CAS2, and CAS3 use the product identifiers CAS1OPSRAP, CAS2OPSRAP, and CAS3OPSRAP, respectively. The deposited period is [TO BE CONFIRMED: YYYY-MM-DD to YYYY-MM-DD]. The global grid, ionospheric shell height, exponent, missing-value conventions, and other metadata are recorded in the IONEX headers. The dataset can be used for investigations of global ionospheric variability, comparison and validation of GIM products, assessment of weighting strategies, single-frequency GNSS ionospheric correction, space-weather monitoring, and reproducibility studies. Users should note that the quality of the combined maps depends on the availability and systematic errors of the input GIMs, the spatial and temporal coverage of the observation-based references, and periods of rapid ionospheric variability such as geomagnetic disturbances.</dc:description>
