2026-08-04 Sequence fragments extracted from aligned chloroplast genome sequences of Magnoliaceae doi:10.57760/sciencedb.45285 en We aligned 102 newly sequenced chloroplast genomes of Magnoliaceae (generated in this study) with 590 chloroplast genomes of Magnoliaceae downloaded from NCBI. Based on the NCBI annotations, sequence fragments were extracted from the aligned chloroplast genome sequences, including 86 genes, 93 intergenic spacers (IGS), and 17 introns. Additionally, the core regions of matK and rbcL were manually extracted and added to the dataset, increasing the total number of gene files to 88 and the total number of sequence files to 198. Each sequence file contains the sequence ID, corresponding chloroplast genome ID, gene name, taxonomic information, and grouping information denoted by a two-digit code.
