  <dc:title>Experimental investigation on fluid injection-induced fault reactivation</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.45729</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset contains the experimental raw data and processed plotting data used to generate Figures 1&amp;ndash;5 of the manuscript. The data include the specimen geometry and CO₂ phase-transition path shown in Figure 1, the experimental setup information shown in Figure 2, and time-series measurements from injection-driven shear tests on saw-cut Beishan granite faults under CO₂ injection at confining pressures of 8, 20, and 30 MPa and N₂ injection at 30 MPa. The raw experimental records include axial stress, confining pressure, injection pressure, downstream monitoring pressure, axial displacement, and temperature during the displacement-driven, stress-adjustment, and injection-driven stages. The processed data include calculated shear slip displacement, effective normal stress, shear stress, apparent friction coefficient, stress paths in effective-normal-stress&amp;ndash;shear-stress space, and shear-stress/friction-coefficient evolution with slip displacement. These data support the analyses of CO₂ gas&amp;ndash;liquid phase transition, pressure and temperature transients, rapid fault slip, stress-path evolution, and apparent slip weakening or strengthening reported in the manuscript.</dc:description>
