2026-08-13 Nasoenteric Tube Placement Success Predictor doi:10.57760/sciencedb.45927 en This repository contains the source code for the web-based risk calculator developed for predicting successful nasoenteric tube placement in critically ill patients. The calculator is based on a logistic regression model derived from a retrospective cohort of 287 ICU patients. It incorporates eight clinical and anatomical predictors, including the angle between the gastric greater curvature and the pylorus, the vertical distance from the lowest tube point to the iliac crest, insertion depth, procedure duration, SOFA score, and operator competency level. The tool is designed for pre-procedural risk stratification to guide the selection of blind versus image-guided placement.
