2026-08-12 Resident Population Identification and Estimation Dataset from Mobile Phone Signaling Data in Xi‘an, China (2022–2023) doi:10.57760/sciencedb.46011 en This dataset supports the paper “Research on the Identification and Estimation of Resident Population Based on Mobile Phone Signaling Data.” It contains population statistics derived from seven months (January–June 2022 and July 2023) of mobile phone signaling data in Xi‘an, China. The dataset includes weighted and unweighted resident population estimates at four spatial scales—city, district, subdistrict, and 200 m × 200 m grid. This dataset provides foundational support for urban population dynamics monitoring, fine-scale spatial planning, and methodological research in big data population statistics. population; mobile phone; Xi'an Zhu Lining Zhang Chengcheng RESTRICTED dataset Science Data Bank
