<dc:title>XDA28070101-002 Technical Data Set of Straw Deep Mixing Black Soil Layer Expansion and Storage</dc:title>

<dc:description>To address critical issues in the northern Songnen Plain following black soil cultivation, such as sharp decline in organic matter, soil structure deterioration, and biological function degradation due to intensive use and imbalance between utilization and conservation, as well as shallow tillage layers and thickened plow pan caused by irrational farming practices, a 3,000-mu core demonstration area was established in Qianjin Town, Hailun City, Heilongjiang Province in 2021. This area focused on demonstrating the technology of deep straw incorporation for black soil layer expansion and nutrient storage enhancement. By 2023, the core demonstration area had expanded to 6,000 mu. Demonstration results showed that deep straw incorporation improved soil fertility in the 0-35 cm layer, increased tillage layer thickness, and enhanced soil nutrient storage capacity. By 2025, the soil tillage layer thickness increased by 15.7 cm; the contents of soil organic matter, alkaline hydrolyzed nitrogen, available phosphorus, and available potassium in the 0-20 cm layer increased by 6.4%,17.6%,15.9%, and 17.2%, respectively; the soil bulk density decreased by 18.5%; the contents of soil organic matter, alkaline hydrolyzed nitrogen, available phosphorus, and available potassium in the 20-35 cm layer increased by 11.2%,20.6%,15.3%, and 20.4%, respectively; the soil bulk density decreased by 21.7%. The implementation of this technical model increased economic benefits by 27.9%.</dc:description>
