<dc:description>This dataset has been compiled from three wetland-related invention patents held by the Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It covers two granted invention patents: ‘Scraper-type Collector for Aquatic Invertebrates in Herbaceous Marsh Wetlands and Method of Use’ (CN 109845706 B), ‘Stationary Wetland Aquatic Invertebrate Sampler and Method of Use’ (CN 108902065 B)—two granted invention patents—and ‘An Air-Cushion Excavator for Wetland Restoration’ (CN 116927274 A)—one published invention patent. systematically distils the basic information, equipment components, technical parameters, operating procedures and applicable scenarios from each patent, forming a standardised, modularised data system comprising patent information, a component dictionary, technical parameters, operating specifications and scenario adaptation; Data is stored in Excel for structured parameters and in Word for textual descriptions, whilst also supporting field measurement and image data formats such as CSV, JPG and MP4. All technical content has been cross-checked against the patent claims, specifications and drawings; quantifiable parameters are entered strictly in accordance with the original text, whilst flexible parameters are described qualitatively and may be adjusted as required. The dataset focuses on the quantitative sampling of wetland invertebrates and low-disturbance ecological restoration, effectively addressing technical challenges associated with traditional sampling equipment—such as susceptibility to blockages, significant human interference and difficulties in in-situ quantification—as well as issues with conventional excavation equipment, including subsidence, damage to wetland soil layers and the inability to carry out precise restoration. The patented technical data comprises fixed standard reference data, whilst the timeframes for accompanying field trial and engineering monitoring data are determined by the actual implementation cycle, thereby supporting scientific research activities such as the replication of wetland equipment, experimental design, field operations and data analysis.</dc:description>
