<dc:title>XDA28070104 Dataset of Long-term Conservation Technology for Black Soil Plough Layer</dc:title>

<dc:description>To address the core problems in the Hailun Demonstration Area, such as the decline in topsoil organic matter content, thick plow pan, and poor soil profile structure, we developed a long-term conservation technology for the black soil plough layer through the research and application of new soil amendment/regulation products combined with appropriate tillage measures. This technology aims to rapidly thicken the black soil layer, increase humic substances, and improve plough layer structure, ultimately establishing a fertile, healthy, and sustainable medium-thick black soil plough layer to optimize topsoil fertility and increase grain yield. A long-term conservation technical model for the black soil plough layer, focusing on deep organic carbon replenishment in medium-thick black soil, was constructed by using biochar as the core component coupled with various organic materials. After the implementation of the technology: The organic matter content in the 0–20 cm and 20–35 cm soil layers increased by more than 3.7% on average; Soil bulk density decreased to 1.0 g/cm³ in the 0–20 cm layer and 1.11 g/cm³ in the 20–35 cm layer; Soil aggregate structure was significantly improved, with the content of large macroaggregates increasing by more than 19% in both the 0–20 cm and 20–35 cm layers; Crop yield increased by 7.7–12.4%, and economic income rose by 1138.3 yuan per hectare. The goals of optimized soil profile structure, rapid soil fertility improvement, and enhanced crop productivity were achieved.</dc:description>
