<dc:title>A dataset of biological data from typical black soil farmland</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.iga.0018s</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset integrates information on microbial communities in agricultural soils from the Northeast China Black Soil Region, as well as data from specialised studies on the ecological characteristics of ammonia-oxidising microorganisms. The data submitted in this instance include bacterial, fungal and metagenomic sequencing data from soil profiles; bacterial and archaeal sequencing data from radiation sterilisation experiments; and data relating to ammonia-oxidising microorganisms. The sampling sites for all three sets of experiments are located within the Northeast Black Soil Region. Soil DNA was amplified via PCR using bacterial, fungal and archaeal-specific primers, as well as primers targeting the Comammox gene; raw sequence data and bioinformatics analysis results were obtained through high-throughput amplicon sequencing (Illumina MiSeq). Data formats include Fastq (.fastq or .gz compressed) and Excel (.xlsx) files, as well as metadata tables uploaded to NCBI, physicochemical property tables and quantitative data tables. The total data volume is 115.14 GB (3.4 GB for profile bacteria, 4.03 GB for profile fungi, 106.81 GB for profile metagenomics, 569.74 MB for irradiation bacteria, radiation archaea 163.87 MB, primer evaluation sequencing 73.72 MB, SIP sequencing 81.1 MB, and physicochemical and quantitative data 91.79 KB). This dataset originates from typical agricultural soils in the Northeast Black Soil Region; the combination of absolute quantification results with relative abundance data obtained via high-throughput sequencing provides dual validation for an in-depth analysis of microbial community structure and function.</dc:description>
