<dc:description>This dataset contains black‑soil data collected by multi‑band ground‑penetrating radar (GPR) equipment in Tieling (Shenyang) and Chenjiadian of Changchun in November 2024. As a special experiment for GPR detection of black‑soil stratigraphy in Northeast China, black‑soil moisture‑content data were collected and jointly analyzed with historical black‑soil observation data. Through field observation and comparative analysis, the moisture content and dielectric constant of black soil were analyzed, and comparative analysis results of spatiotemporal characteristics of black soil in typical regions were obtained.

The experimental acquisition instrument is a multi‑band ground‑penetrating radar developed by the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It adopts an ultra‑wideband carrier‑free pulse system with integrally‑integrated antennas of three center frequencies: 200 MHz, 500 MHz and 1000 MHz. By adopting ultra‑wideband high‑resolution GPR detection technology, fine‑scale detection of various soil types is realized, and subsurface layer interface information of typical black‑soil areas in Northeast China is acquired.</dc:description>
