<dc:description>a. Data content (data file/table name, including observation indicators)
This data includes a 30m resolution land cover dataset of the Krulen River Basin, reflecting the distribution of land cover types in the Krulen River Basin and providing data support for land use planning in the Krulen River Basin.
b. Construction purpose
The Krulun River is known as the "mother river of the Mongolian people" and has always been an excellent pasture for nomadic tribes to migrate by water and grass. The rapid growth of population and the sharp increase in livestock have led to problems such as deforestation, overgrazing of grasslands, and disorderly cultivation of slopes, resulting in increased runoff after rain, worsening soil erosion, reducing soil water storage capacity, intensifying evaporation, and forming a certain range of water condition losses, which in turn affects precipitation in the region, forming a vicious cycle and further deteriorating vegetation growth conditions and water storage capacity. With the rise in temperature, decrease in precipitation, and increase in evaporation due to warming and drying, as well as the combined effects of some unreasonable human economic activities, the scarcity of water resources and deterioration of the ecological environment in the Krulun River Basin have occurred. As a tributary of Heilongjiang, the ecological environment of the Krulun River cannot be ignored. Therefore, it is necessary to use remote sensing technology for dynamic monitoring of the Krulen River Basin in order to improve and protect the environment of the Krulen River Basin.
c. Service target
It can widely serve scientific researchers in related disciplines such as land use planning and ecological monitoring.
