<dc:description>a. Data content (data file/table name, observation index content included)
The spatial data set of soil conservation capacity with 1km resolution in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia in 2015 can provide data support for ecological and environmental protection in Chifeng City.
b. Construction purpose
The global land degradation has resulted in the deterioration of the ecological environment, affected the economic development, and seriously endangered the survival and reproduction of mankind. Soil erosion is the main cause of land degradation. It will not only cause serious soil erosion in the region, but also reduce soil fertility, which has a great negative impact on food production and ecological environment quality. Soil conservation function, as an indispensable regulation service in the process of ecosystem service function, is an important part of ecosystem service function evaluation. Quantitative assessment of soil conservation function of watershed is of great significance to the management of regional ecological environment and the effective allocation of resources.
c. Service object
It can widely serve scientific researchers and students in ecological protection, ecological monitoring and other related disciplines.
