<dc:description>a. Data content (data file/table name, observation index content included)
This data includes the current situation data set of soil organic carbon content of 30 m resolution wetland in the west of Songnen Plain in 2016, reflecting the distribution of soil organic carbon storage in the west of Songnen Plain, and providing data support for regional ecological environment protection and land spatial planning in the west of Songnen Plain.
b. Construction purpose
Soil is the largest organic carbon pool in the earth's surface layer, which stores nearly 1500pgc, which is 2-3 times that of terrestrial vegetation. Although wetlands account for only 6% of the global land area, the organic carbon stored in wetland soil accounts for 20% -30% of the global soil carbon pool. Swamp wetland is the most important wetland type, accounting for 83.5% of the total area of natural wetlands in the world. It plays an important role in maintaining regional ecological balance. At the same time, it also has the ability of ecosystem services such as climate regulation and strong carbon storage, and plays an irreplaceable role in the process of global carbon cycle. The research on carbon storage and sequestration potential of swamp wetland has become one of the important research contents of global carbon cycle and global change, and has been widely concerned by the scientific community. Accurate estimation of soil organic carbon storage in marsh wetland and revealing the spatial distribution pattern and control factors of soil organic carbon density will help to predict the interaction between ecosystem and climate change, and is of great significance for understanding the regional and even global carbon budget and the mechanism and impact of global change.
c. Service object
It can widely serve scientific researchers in black land protection, ecological monitoring and other related disciplines.
