<dc:description>a. Data content (data file/table name, observation index content included)
This data set includes the 10 m resolution intertidal wetland type distribution data set of Fujian Zhangjiangkou Mangrove Nature Reserve in 2020, which can provide data support for ecological conservation, mangrove protection and restoration, and regional sustainable development.
b. Construction purpose
The intertidal zone is the land sea transition zone between the highest and lowest average tides, and it is also the sensitive area and significant impact area of global climate change such as sea level rise. As an important part of coastal wetlands, intertidal wetlands play an important role in maintaining the stability of coastline, providing biological habitat, accelerating material exchange and promoting carbon sink. In addition, the development of agriculture and aquaculture through reclamation of intertidal wetlands can create high economic benefits. Therefore, affected by coastal erosion, sea-level rise and human activities, intertidal wetland habitat is facing a serious threat. Timely and accurate understanding of the current situation and evolution of intertidal wetlands is of great significance for achieving the sustainable management goal of intertidal wetlands.
c. Service object
It can widely serve scientific researchers and students in agriculture, ecology, hydrology, wetland ecology and other related disciplines.
