<dc:description>a. Data content (data file/table name, including observation indicators)
This dataset includes the 8 km resolution vegetation coverage dataset of the Heilongjiang River Basin (spanning China, Russia, and Mongolia) from 1982 to 2015, which can provide data support for vegetation growth, climate change, and regional sustainable development in the Heilongjiang River Basin.
b. Construction purpose
Climate change has direct and indirect impacts on terrestrial ecosystems and is a huge challenge that humanity is facing. The Heilongjiang River Basin (spanning middle, Russia, and Mongolia) is located in the mid to high latitude region and is one of the top ten river basins in the world. Its vegetation plays an important role in regional carbon cycling, but its growth is highly susceptible to the impact of climate change. The photosynthesis of plants is very sensitive to climate change. Understanding the direct relationship between vegetation change and climate change can help achieve sustainable development goals and thus achieve the sustainability of ecosystems.
c. Service target
It can serve a wide range of scientific researchers and students in fields such as agriculture and ecology.
