2026-06-11 Wintering and Breeding Sites of the Black-tailed Godwit, 2011–2025 doi:10.57760/sciencedb.cjae.00052 en This study collected a total of 11,212 raw location records for the Black-tailed Godwit from 2011 to 2025 from the China Bird Watching Records Center (http://www.birdreport.cn/) and the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (http://www.gbif.org). After importing the raw location data into ArcGIS 10.8, a buffer zone with a 1 km radius was established, and locations that were too close to each other were removed. After retaining only one location per buffer zone, a total of 239 valid distribution locations were obtained, including 76 from the breeding season (stable distribution locations in traditional breeding grounds from May to July each year) and 163 from the wintering season (distribution sites for the Black-tailed Godwit in January only).
