<dc:description>This study set up 28 stations in the Yangtze River estuary, with a range of 30 ° 26 ′ 48 ″ -31 ° 46 ′ 52 ″ N and 120 ° 58 ′ 30 ″ -122 ° 34 ′ 48 ″ E, covering the interior and exterior of the Yangtze River estuary, the outer side of Hangzhou Bay, and the adjacent nearshore waters of the East China Sea. Sample collection will be conducted annually in spring and autumn from 2020 to 2021, with 2 voyages per season. The planktonic animal specimens were obtained by dragging vertically from the bottom to the surface using a shallow water Type I biological network. All operations are strictly carried out in accordance with the "Marine Survey Code" (GB/T 12763.6-2007). The collected specimens are fixed and stored using a 5% formaldehyde solution, and classified, identified, and statistically analyzed in the laboratory. The unit of zooplankton abundance is ind · m-3. Simultaneously investigate hydrological and hydrochemical data, salinity is measured on-site using YSI multi parameter water quality analyzer, and nutrient salts are detected according to the method specified in the "Marine Monitoring Specification" (GB 17378.4-2007). The spatial distribution table of planktonic animal abundance includes the abundance values of each station, latitude and longitude, and each station; The table of beta diversity and turnover nested components of planktonic animals includes total beta diversity values, turnover, nesting, and similarity values between two stations; The GDM species table contains missing data for each species; The GDM environmental factor table contains the projection coordinates of each station and the content data of 14 environmental factors. </dc:description>
