<dc:title>Data set of soil physical and chemical properties of pure Cunninghamia lanceolata plantation in Dagangshan and its transformation into Phoebe bournei, Schima superba and Cyclobalanopsis gilva</dc:title>

<dc:description>This dataset is based on the artificial pure forests of 10-year-old Chinese fir, Fujian nanmu, Schisandra chinensis, and red skinned Qinggang in subtropical regions, as well as the control forest of Chinese fir harvesting. Soil samples were collected in the field in April 2025, covering a soil profile of 0-60 cm in various areas. Samples were taken in three layers of 0-20 cm, 20-40 cm, and 40-60 cm, and basic measured data such as soil physical properties, soil nutrient content, and ecological stoichiometry were systematically measured and obtained for each area. All original samples were subjected to indoor standardized preprocessing and professional testing to obtain valid basic data, with no data missing or abnormal elimination. The post statistical analysis of data is completed using SPSS data analysis software. The core processing steps include one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and principal component analysis. The system reveals the impact of forest type, soil depth, and their interaction on soil physicochemical properties. The dataset table contains all the measured indicators and statistical analysis results of different soil layers in various locations, clearly indicating the corresponding measurement units, sample record information, and grouping dimensions of each indicator. The data records are complete and the dimensions are clear. The measured errors in this dataset are strictly controlled within the allowable range of forestry soil physical and chemical determination standards. The errors mainly come from the spatial heterogeneity of field sampling and indoor instrument system errors. The overall data has high reliability and good repeatability, and can truly reflect the soil quality differences of degraded forest land of different forest types. The dataset file is in a universal tabular format, which can be directly opened and analyzed using conventional software such as Office Excel, WPS, SPSS, etc., and is compatible with mainstream scientific research data processing platforms. </dc:description>
