<dc:title>Sequencing Analysis of Soil Microbial Diversity across Different Soil Layers in the Loess Hilly-Gully Region</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.cjae.000as</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset is derived from the study of soil microbial diversity in different soil layers in Pengyang County, Ningxia, in the loess hilly and gully region. The sampling points are set within the Twisted Golden Rooster plot, and soil samples are collected in layers of 0-40 cm, 40-80 cm, 80-120 cm, 120-160 cm, and 160-200 cm according to the soil layer division method. Each soil layer is set with 5 replicates. Using the Baimaike Cloud sequencing platform, high-throughput sequencing was performed on 16S rRNA genes (bacteria) and ITS1 regions (fungi). After undergoing QIIME2 process quality control, denoising, and chimerism removal, the original sequence is obtained as a high-quality ASV/OTU representative sequence. The dataset contains the analysis results of bacterial and fungal community composition, Alpha diversity (Shannon, Chao1, etc.), and Beta diversity (PCoA/NMDS) in each soil layer, and integrates soil physicochemical factor data (pH, organic carbon, total nitrogen, moisture content, etc.). This dataset can be used to reveal the vertical distribution pattern and driving mechanism of soil microbial communities along soil depth in loess hilly and gully areas.&amp;nbsp;</dc:description>
