<dc:description>This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Changes in Potential Suitable Habitats, Centroid Shifts, and Niche Overlap of Representative Betula and Populus Species in East Asia under Climate Change.” It includes cleaned occurrence records for eight representative Betula and Populus tree species in East Asia, bioclimatic variable selection results, performance evaluations of MaxEnt, GAM, and BIOCLIM models, potential suitable habitat areas under different climate scenarios, suitable-habitat centroid shifts, multi-species suitability patterns, niche overlap metrics for representative Betula–Populus species pairs, source data for figures and tables, and associated analysis scripts. The dataset covers current climate conditions and future SSP245 and SSP585 scenarios for 2061–2080 and 2081–2100. It can be used to verify and reproduce the main analyses on climate-driven changes in potential suitable habitats, spatial shifts, and niche relationships of representative Betula and Populus species in East Asia.</dc:description>
