<dc:title>Spatiotemporal characteristics of CO2 along a tidal creek of coastal wetland in Minjiang River Estuary</dc:title>

<dc:description>Tidal creeks are ubiquitous in coastal wetlands and act as key conduits for the transport of terrestrial nutrients and anthropogenic carbon, making them potential hotspots for greenhouse gas emissions. Nevertheless, the spatiotemporal patterns and controlling factors of greenhouse gas emissions from tidal creeks remains rather limited. To investigate the spatiotemporal patterns of dissolved CO2 concentration (CCO2), water-air CO2 flux (FCO2), and their environmental controls, we conducted systematic multi-seasonal observations along spatial transects in the main tidal creek within the Shanyutan Wetland of the Minjiang River Estuary, southeastern China. This dataset covers key parameters such as physicochemical properties, CCO2, and FCO2 of tidal ditch water bodies in different seasons. This dataset can provide reliable data support and scientific basis for deepening the understanding of the source sink function of tidal channels in regional carbon balance, improving the carbon cycle model of coastal wetlands, and enhancing the accuracy of carbon balance estimation. </dc:description>
