<dc:title>Alpine grassland classification dataset of Sanjiangyuan National Park based on Landsat multispectral remote sensing (2025)</dc:title>

<dc:description>Accurate surveys and the creation of land cover maps, along with monitoring land cover changes, serve as the foundation for simulating global carbon and hydrological cycles, studying interactions between surface climate and land use, and assessing land degradation. Based on field survey data and employing a cloud removal algorithm, this dataset utilizes Landsat satellite imagery to extract vegetation types and land use categories within the Sanjiangyuan National Park. It compiles and forms three high-resolution (30m) datasets of the latest 2025 high-altitude grassland classifications for the three source regions. The high-altitude grassland type maps of the Yellow River, Yangtze River, and Lancang River source areas covered by this dataset provide valuable references for vegetation monitoring and management in the Sanjiangyuan National Park.</dc:description>
