  <dc:title>Southwest Region Fire Radiation Power</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.cje.00006</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>Fire radiative power (FRP) data was synthesized and extracted from the MOD14A1V6.1 global fire product via Google Earth Engine. This product, released by NASA, features a spatial resolution of 1 km and a temporal resolution of 8 days, providing four bands: FireMask, MaxFRP, sample, and QA. FireMask serves as a fire point mask indicating the presence of fire points, while MaxFRP represents the maximum fire radiative power, reflecting the highest detected radiative power per 8-day synthesis period for each pixel, with a value range of 0&amp;ndash;600 MW. QA acts as a quality file. This study filtered pixels identified as fire points in FireMask to serve as the burned area mask for extracting MaxFRP. Monthly MaxFRP values were obtained through maximum synthesis, followed by the aggregation of MaxFRP during high fire risk seasons. Similar to VIIRS fire point data processing, the study applied vegetation coverage boundaries for the corresponding years, retaining FRP data only for forested areas, grasslands, and shrublands.</dc:description>
