<dc:title>A dataset of water, heat, and carbon fluxes over the winter wheat-summer maize croplands at Luancheng Station(2017,2019, 2020)</dc:title>

<dc:description>The winter wheat-summer maize rotation system is a typical planting system of cropland ecosystem in the North China Plain. Flux observation data plays an important role in analyzing the water use for production and water-carbon coupling mechanism in crops. The Luancheng Agro-ecosystem Experiment Station of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Luancheng Station) is a representative farmland ecosystem observation station in North China. Flux observation at this station began in 2007. This dataset contains water, heat, and carbon fluxes and key meteorological elements observation data over the winter wheat-summer maize croplands at this station covering the years 2017, 2019, and 2020. The data collection, processing, and evaluation procedures follow the specifications and requirements of ChinaFLUX, ensuring high data quality and reliability. In the dataset, the data for each year consists of 8 Excel data files, divided into two categories: LITE, which includes major fluxes and meteorological variables, and ALL, which adds data quality and interpolation indicators on the basis of LITE. Each category has four data files, including data files at four scales: half-hour (HH), day (DD), month (MM), and year (YY). The dataset can provide solid data support for studies of cropland water balance, crop process-based modeling, water-carbon coupling cycles, and environmental drivers in North China.</dc:description>
