2026-09-30 Fundamental Research Projects Funded by 20 Public Research Funding Organizations in 16 Countries and Regions (2010–2024) doi:10.57760/sciencedb.gfr.00007 en This dataset contains fundamental research projects initiated between 2010 and 2024 by 20 public research funding organizations across 16 countries and regions. It supports comparisons across countries, funding organizations, and funding types. The records include grant numbers, project start and end years, nominal funding amounts and currencies, amounts converted into US dollars using exchange rates for the project start year, research fields, and funding types. Each project has a unique ProjectID to distinguish records that may share an original grant number across organizations. Projects in the social sciences, humanities, and arts are excluded.
