  <dc:title>Design Requirements Analysis Report for Black Soil Space-based Soil Monitoring Satellites</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.iga.01182</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
  <dc:description>To address the challenges of global climate change and food security, and to effectively protect and utilize the precious strategic resource of the black soil in Northeast China, this report systematically analyzes the design requirements for the &amp;quot;Black Soil Space-Based Soil Monitoring Satellite.&amp;quot;

Black soil is hailed as the &amp;quot;giant panda of arable land,&amp;quot; and its health is directly linked to national grain production capacity and ecological security. Traditional on-site monitoring methods suffer from limitations such as limited coverage, inadequate timeliness, and high costs. This report aims to demonstrate that by deploying a dedicated space-based monitoring satellite constellation, a space-based Earth observation system with high frequency, wide coverage, high precision, and multi-element monitoring capabilities can be established. This system will enable dynamic and precise monitoring of key indicators of black soil, such as organic matter content.

The report will comprehensively outline and analyze the design inputs and constraints of the satellite system across multiple dimensions, including mission objectives, user requirements, observation timeframes, spectral resolution, spatial resolution, and swath width. It will provide critical demand-based evidence and technical support for the subsequent project approval and development of the satellite system.</dc:description>
