<dc:title>Dataset on the effects of gamma irradiation on archaeal and bacterial communities in agricultural soils of the black soil region</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.iga.01268</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset originates from radiation treatment experiments conducted on representative farmland soils from the Northeast Black Soil Region (Changtu: low organic matter soil; Nenjiang: high organic matter soil). It comprises fluorescence quantitative data for archaea and bacteria alongside raw sequencing data. Raw data are stored in fq.ga format, documenting the sequencing read lengths for each sample (120 files in total), with a data volume of 733MB. Fluorescence quantification data are provided in PDF format (4 files), totalling 648KB. The absolute quantification results, combined with relative abundance data obtained from high-throughput sequencing, not only enhance data reliability but also provide dual validation for in-depth analysis of microbial community structure and function. This ensures the dataset's precision and application value within relevant research fields.</dc:description>
