Taking the farmland adjacent to the conversion of farmland to forest as the control, three repeated samples were set up for different measures of conversion of farmland to forest, namely, the conversion of farmland to larch plantation model, the conversion of farmland to Korean pine plantation model and the conversion of farmland to thorn bud forest model, and three repeated samples were also set up for the corresponding farmland. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of different measures of returning farmland to forest on the restoration of ecological functions such as biodiversity, water conservation and carbon sequestration.
