2026-09-15 Patterns and drivers of aquatic invertebrate diversity in wetlands within and outside floodplains doi:10.57760/sciencedb.iga.01352 en This dataset comprises two subsets: one detailing the composition of aquatic invertebrates in floodplain and non-floodplain wetlands, and the other containing the coordinates and environmental factors of these wetlands. The dataset includes information on the number of aquatic invertebrate individuals and corresponding environmental factor records from a total of 40 sampling sites. These sites cover floodplain wetlands (Type 1) and non-floodplain wetlands (Type 2) in the Sanjiang Plain region of Northeast China. Each sampling point is identified by the format ‘Name + A/B’, representing two replicate plots at the same location. The invertebrate data records 257 taxonomic groups. The environmental factor data records the latitude, longitude, altitude, water depth, wetland area, water temperature, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, salinity, pH, redox potential, chloride ion concentration and dissolved oxygen concentration for each sampling point.
