<dc:title>Dataset on the effects of long-term different fertilisation regimes on microbial communities and functions in Northeast China’s black soil</dc:title>

<dc:description>This dataset comprises soil samples from three long-term field fertilisation trial sites (Gongzhuling, Minzhu Township and Heihe) in the Northeast China Black Soil Region. It contains raw sequencing data from amplicon sequencing of bacteria, fungi and protozoa, as well as metagenomic sequencing of microbial nutrient metabolism; species and functional classification data; and soil physicochemical property data. The raw sequencing data are stored in fq.ga format, recording the sequencing read lengths for each sample, totalling 132 files; the physicochemical property data are in PDF format, totalling 2 files. The integration of species and functional classification results with relative abundance data obtained from high-throughput sequencing not only enhances the overall reliability of the dataset but also provides multidimensional cross-validation for the analysis of microbial community structure and functional prediction, thereby significantly improving the accuracy and scientific value of this dataset in relevant research fields.</dc:description>
