<dc:title>A Soil Amendment and Its Preparation Method</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.iga.01373</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This patent discloses a soil amendment and its preparation method, addressing the problems of soil pollution and acidification. The amendment consists of 1~10 parts of dolomite and 1~40 parts of urea, with the optimal ratio being 5 parts of dolomite combined with 10 parts of urea. For preparation, the two raw materials are separately ground and sieved through a 200-mesh sieve before mixing; the mixture is then calcined at 500 &amp;deg;C for 2 hours under aerated conditions, followed by re-grinding and sieving to obtain the final product. This soil amendment features low-cost raw materials and a simple preparation process. It can significantly increase soil pH, reduce exchangeable aluminum content to eliminate aluminum toxicity, and improve soil permeability. The optimal application rate is a solid-to-solid ratio of 0.5% (amendment to soil). It is suitable for the amelioration of acidified black soil and other acidic soils, exhibiting an excellent soil improvement effect.</dc:description>
