In this paper, high-resolution optical remote sensing image GF-6 8m resolution data was used to obtain the open-pit mining dataset in the Bohai Rim through rule-based feature extraction, time-series image discrimination and visual interpretation methods. This dataset can be used to analyze the temporal and spatial pattern of open-pit mining in the Bohai Rim region, the correlation between open-pit mining distribution and influencing factors, as well as economic development.
