<dc:description>As one of the first national historical and cultural cities in China, Hangzhou's century long changes from 1912 to 2012 can be regarded as a micro specimen of modern Chinese history. This period spanned the entire process of the collapse of the imperial system, the flames of the War of Resistance Against Japan, and the transition from a planned economy to a market economy, and the celebrity group was a concrete carrier of the spirit of the times. Therefore, this article takes celebrities from various industries in Hangzhou over the past century (1912-2012) as the research object, collects first-hand information from relevant literature and classics such as biographies and local chronicles, processes it digitally, and verifies their achievements, identity tags, and industry attributes based on their biographies. On the basis of Excel data, an XML data format is extracted, which includes 516 celebrity data records with 20 fields. This provides a data foundation for deeper research on the cultural genes of Hangzhou celebrities and is of great significance for inheriting traditional Chinese culture.</dc:description>
